How to cook moosor dal [red] bengali type


  1. Put the dal on a bowl. Clean the dal properly.
  2. Now boil the dal in a pot. Don't put any lid on it.
  3. Add Salt and little sugar
  4. Occasionally bring down the heat if the water is coming out of the pot
  5. Add Holud [Turmaric power] slightly
  6. At the last stage of the boiling, smashed the dal with a  "dal kata".
  7. Cut dhone leaves, oinion, green chilli and fry it in a pot.
  8. Once it is brown add this with the dal and bowl some more.
