- Put the dal on a bowl. Clean the dal properly.
- Now boil the dal in a pot. Don't put any lid on it.
- Add Salt and little sugar
- Occasionally bring down the heat if the water is coming out of the pot
- Add Holud [Turmaric power] slightly
- At the last stage of the boiling, smashed the dal with a "dal kata".
- Cut dhone leaves, oinion, green chilli and fry it in a pot.
- Once it is brown add this with the dal and bowl some more.
